[[CANDIDS]] SELMA BLAIR MOURNS HER K-9 COMPANION’S DEMISE

Life comes and goes. Nobody knows that better than Selma Blair.

The pregnant actress was spotted making her way to a local eatery in Los Angeles yesterday (February 10) were she met a friend and instantly became very emotional.

Selma talked about her K-9 companion’s demise with a friend outside the eatery and seemed to be understandably hormonal.

Her one-eyed dachshund-mix named Wink passed away earlier in the morning and she was still visibly upset about it.

Selma is expecting her first child with boyfriend Jason Bleick.

The couple, who have been dating for about a year, are said to “be ecstatic” about their baby-on-the-way, due later this year.

Selma Blair capitalized on the warm weather on the West Coast yesterday and showed off her growing baby bump in a bright, floral bikini in Malibu. Selma's been relaxing close to home since announcing the news of her pregnancy and enjoying her downtime with boyfriend Jason Bleick. She also had an impromptu mini Cruel Intentions reunion last week when she ran into Ryan Phillippe at a vitamin store.

The Cruel Intentions actress debuted her growing tummy yesterday (06-01-11)while relaxing on the beach in Malibu, California.

Wearing just a tiny floral string bikini, Selma, 38, relaxed in the warm sunshine and walked along the shore and clutching her bump protectively.

She watched her boyfriend Jason Bleick as he surfed, protecting the fair skin on her face with a straw cowboy hat and sunglasses.

After his surfing session, Jason joined her on the sand with her and at one point tenderly placed his hands on her bump.

'They are ecstatic,' a friend told People. 'They couldn't be happier.'

Selma's career has been up and down over the years. She was best known for her role in 90s hit Cruel Intentions but hasn't had a big hit since then.

She then went on to star in films such as The Sweetest Thing with Cameron Diaz and Hellboy.

[[CANDIDS]] Ryan Phillippe and Selma Blair Have a Hugging Cruel Intentions Reunion!

Ryan Phillippe embraced Selma Blair at a vitamin store in LA yesterday. The former Cruel Intentions costars ran into each other during their respective outings, making for one fun '90s movie reunion. They've long left their onscreen love triangle behind them and moved on to other relationships, with Ryan most recently spending time with Amanda Seyfried.

Le 27 janvier dernier, Selma Blair se baladait dans les rues de Los Angeles avec son père Elliot Beitner, tout heureux à l'idée de devenir grand-père.

En couple avec le styliste de mode Jason Bleick, l'Américaine a fait quelques emplettes le 2 février en compagnie d'un homme qui n'était ni son compagnon, ni son ex Mikey Day et encore moins son ex mari Ahmet Zappa. Ce n'est autre que l'acteur Ryan Phillippe, qu'elle a rencontré sur le tournage de Sexe Intentions dans lequel ils se donnaient la réplique, qui accompagnait la jolie brune ce jour-là.

Amis depuis bientôt 12 ans, le duo s'est rendu dans une boutique de produits bios pour acheter quelques vitamines et préparer l'arrivée de bébé. Père de deux enfants, Ava, 11 ans, et Deacon, 7 ans, issus de son mariage avec Reese Witherspoon, Ryan Phillippe a pu donner quelques conseils à son amie Selma, dont le ventre commence à être bien rond.

Quant à l'acteur de 36 ans, il roucoule actuellement avec la jolie Amanda Seyfried, 24 ans, depuis sa rupture avec l'actrice australienne Abbie Cornish.

[[CANDIDS]] Selma Blair : Enceinte et lookée, c'est un canon !

Au pays des stars enceintes, Selma Blair est celle qui affiche sa grossesse avec le plus d'enthousiasme. La preuve, les 27 et 28 janvier, quand l'actrice nous a fait un défilé digne d'une Fashion Week.

Premier jour : La star de Sexe Intentions nous a concocté un look trendy mi-chic mi-sportswear. La brunette a ressorti ses Converse pour les assortir avec un top et un foulard blancs. Le détail qui tue ? Les manches roulées pour exhiber ses biscotos ! Même enceinte, Selma ne se laisse pas aller et ne quitte plus son slim sexy. Côté accessoires, Selma a choisi les incontournables Ray Ban et un sac tressé couleur gris métallisé. Son papa, Elliot Beitner, présent ce jour-là, a approuvé son look.

Deuxième jour : La compagne de Jason Bleick se fait "dark" et opte pour un look 100% noir. Celle qui a donné la réplique à Reese Witherspoon dans La revanche d'une blonde portait un slim noir et un cardigan pour se protéger du froid. Munie de ses lunettes de soleil, l'actrice de 38 ans a troqué son it-bag contre son chien ! Une nouvelle tendance chez les stars qui ne peuvent plus se séparer de leurs toutous. N'est-ce pas Paris Hilton ?

Que ce soit en noir ou en blanc, Selma Blair garde son sens de la mode et c'est très bien comme ça !

During high school she went by the name Blair because she hated her first name. She is still not comfortable with her age at the name of 36. She says, "I've always thought of it as an old woman's name, so I demanded that everyone call me Blair. In high school, when people found out my name was Selma, they'd call me things like Smell-ma or Salmonella. That stuff basically came from friends, and I never really had any enemies, so I just kind of smiled through it. "I still don't like my name. It does not fall prettily off the tongue. In fact, it's hideous. My middle name is James, and I like to be called that."
She has been romantically linked to Jason Schwartzman of Rushmore Fame.
In her sparetime, Selma collects black-and-white photography. She also enjoys horseback riding, and loves snow jumping.
Blair's intention for her future was to become a photographer. She had some macabre ideas as to what would make a good shot. She explains, "I didn't have many models I was comfortable asking to pose for me, so I did a lot of self-portraits. "I didn't want them to look as if they were of me, so I made myself up like (artist) Magritte's mother, who drowned herself and was supposedly found with her nightdress wrapped around her head. "I took a bunch of self-portraits in that state and some very macabre, victim-y ones, in which I'd torn off my clothes, found a ditch at the side of the road and jumped in."
Selma has a reputation for becoming every publicist's nightmare by talking about anything and everything during an interview.

Misc Trivia

Selma likes animals. She volunteered at an animal shelter caring for stray dogs. For their August 2002 issue, Seventeen magazine was doing an article about her and they photographed her with some of these dogs.
She has a one eyed dog named Wink.
Selma & Ahmet'swedding was originally meant to take place at the Ritz-Carlton in nearby Marina Del Rey, but the couple changed locations at the last minute.
According to People magazine, the bride wore a white satin tailor-made Karl Lagerfeld gown while the groom wore a black suit. For the reception, Blair changed into a black version of the same dress as the 70-plus guests danced to disco tunes and dined on grilled salmon and a three-layer coconut wedding cake.
